On The Day of Your Surgery
You will be admitted to hospital prior to surgery.
You will be seen by the nursing team, your consultant and your anaesthetist and will have to give consent for your operation.
Before proceeding to theatre you will be asked to remove all jewellery, dentures, contact lenses, make-up and nail varnish, and to change into a gown.
