Types of operation:
Surgery will either be via the traditional open method or laparoscopic surgery (sometimes known as keyhole or minimally invasive).
Your consultant will explain to you the type of surgery (keyhole or open) which is most suitable for your hernia.
Your operation will be performed by a consultant surgeon who has been trained in this country. Our consultants are also recognised by all major health insurers. Our consultants work regularly with a number of consultant anaesthetists who will administer your anaesthetic.
